Virtual Organ Crawl, 2021
Given the special circumstances of Covid-19, our traditional chapter organ crawl was created virtually this year. Thanks to Rex Rallanka for organizing this wonderful production.
View the video on our chapter YouTube channel here.
The Sacramento Valley Chapter AGO normally hosts an organ crawl in June for our members. Past crawls have taken us to the Berkeley/Oakland, San Francisco, Napa, and Chico. This year's organ crawl is virtual, and we visit three organs built by Bigelow & Co. Organ Builders. On our crawl, we are pleased to be joined by Michael Bigelow, owner, and David Chamberlin, VP and tonal director. https://www.bigeloworgans.com Organs on our tour include Opus 1 – St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Chico, Opus 12 – First Congregational church in Oroville, Opus 21 – Grace Lutheran Church in Grass Valley. Our organ demonstrators are Marian Metson, Rexphil Rallanka, Dr. David Rothe, and Randy Wurschmidt. Recorded and produced by Christian Jensen.
